Telecaster® Hardtail Ferrules, but it’s worth bearing in mind that the way they’ve been used over the years has slightly changed.

From 1950 through 1966, the ferrules were countersunk into the body, sitting flush in the guitar.

From 1966 until the Management buyout in 1984, the Ferrules were no longer counter sunk, and actually sat proud.

Since 1984, the ferrules have been countersunk again.

It doesn’t alter the way the Ferrules work, but its worth taking on board for historical builds or repairs.

It’s also worth considering that although these are the most common form of ferrule in use on most string through body guitars, there are exceptions.
