This is a conversion plate for the Fender® Jaguar® (specifically the USA model) routed for use with a toggle switch, as a way of simplifying the switching.

This is a "conversion" part - pretty straight forward really - its a humbucker ring internally, but the external "shape" is that of a Jazzmaster® pickup route.

They do, occasionally, turn up on other models, produced outside of of those regions (Squier® commonly use this spec), and somewhat frustratingly, some USA/Mex/Squier models will use the Japanese Spec control plate.

This is one of the control plates you will need for the Fender® Jaguar®. Fulfilling a purely functional role in the grand scheme of things, it is simply there to provide mounting for the volume and tone controls as well as the jack socket.

This is the control plate for the Japanese Fender® Mustang guitars.
They do, occasionally, turn up on other models, produced outside of Japan, but, its fairly safe to think of them as “specifically for Japanese models” because, seemingly those guitars never use any other version of the control plate.

These UFO knobs are actually a universal fit, and lack the internal teeth of cheaper models - they can be fitted to either Imperial or Metric pots, as long as they're split shaft - they will fit! Available in a wide selection of colours, both in the actual knob colour, and the font colour
