Telecaster® Pickguards haven't really changed much through the decades, but what you do see, especially nowadays, is the pickguards being used to open up a whole raft of modifications when it comes to the pickups, so wether you're sticking slavishly to a 1952 re-issue and need a Bakelite plate, or you're looking to fit a Humbucker or P90 in the neck slot - we should have the plate for the job!

Fender® Telecaster® Bridge Cover Pickguard - Suitable for Fender Esquire Pickguard - Single Coil Conversion - Suitable for 1959 - 1987 Fender® Telecaster®

Designed for a Vintage Telecaster® Bridge and a great part to put that finishing touch on your Tele®. First introduced in the early 50's , where most ended up as portable ashtrays for the gigging musician, the early models had a distinctive solder drop or solder mark on the inner face due the fact that a wire was attached during the electro-plating process. The later models have no such mark because the plating process moved onto specially designed racks.

These are our basic “accessory mounting screws” that we use on everything from scratch plates right through to jack sockets. For simplicities sake, we just call them pickguard screws, but they really do a multitude of jobs on a guitar.

Available in the following colours.
