This is a HSS assembly for the Fender® Stratocaster®, built around our humbuckers and Single coils - both perfectly matched to give a great match between humbucker and singles.

This is a setup that i absolutely love for a Strat® - a real rock machine! A working mans setup thats going to do most things you can throw at it, and keeping things as simple as possible without compromising on versatility.

The Heretic is a high output, high gain, mid heavy humbucker that’s ideally suited to Metal and Rock. Built around an oversized Ceramic magnet, 5mm hex poles and a pair of coils wound up to 14.5Kohm of 43 AWG Plain enamel wire – its an absolutely classic tone that’s lasted right up to the modern day.

Compared to the Hot Iron – our “go to” high output pickup – the Wraith distorts earlier, retains more clarity at higher gain, responds better to drop tuning, maintains a tighter low end response to avoid that dread “Flub” and doesn’t display that usual “mid range honk” that you’d get with something a little more traditional

The Laudanum is a very heavy pickup. There’s a huge amount of low-end weight on tap, and just a little less of the high-end sparkle you’d traditionally associate with high-output humbuckers. That balance makes it absolutely ideal for metal rhythm work, where filling space and moving air is the whole point. It’s not a pickup for every occasion, and in some guitars that lack of “zip” can make things feel a touch dark or bottom-heavy — but if you know what you’re aiming for, it’s a very satisfying place to land.

The Model 24 humbucker represents a new way of thinking of medium output pickups for us. Rather than a “vintage pickup that’ll rock”, it’s probably fair to say it’s a “Rock pickup with vintage characteristics”

The Ethereal is a bit of a strange pickup on the face of it - it’s so highly wound at 17K that you’re instantly thinking “this is going to be high output/tons of gain/wont clean up” but its actually a bit “Sheep in wolve’s clothing” – and as such, performs much more like what we’d associate with a medium output humbucker.

The new, Map Cap Humbucker - an out and out, point and shoot, tons of fun humbucker! A Funbucker! Nothing subtle, nothing delicate about it - just high output, gutsy, aggressive rock and punk tone for days

Built using 44 AWG Plain enamel wire wound onto brass stand offs and fibre board frames, and then everything charged up with a pair of polished Alnico 5 bar magnets, mounted to a German silver base, with a German silver cover, they’re a wonderful little design! Quite pretty in their own way.

Designed for John Petrucci’s Music Man JP13™ guitar, the new Illuminator™ Neck and Bridge Models are the next generation in John’s signature pickups with DiMarzio.

Steve's neck model has a very specific sound, which is almost exactly the opposite of his bridge pickup in every way — it has low output and a warm, very smooth, almost flat attack. The DC resistance spec is very high, but the magnet is not strong, and this combination accounts for the unusual mix of dark tone and low output.

This pickup started a sound revolution!

Replacement pickups simply didn’t exist before the invention of the Super Distortion® in the early Seventies. The Super Distortion® (and its original 3-conductor version, the Dual Sound®) was the first pickup specifically designed to kick a tube amp into total overdrive, and is still the standard by which all other high-output pickups are measured.

This is a “parts kit” for a “Fan fret” 8 string Humbucker, and contains everything you’d need to make your own pickup, EXCEPT the wire for the coils, the hook-up wire, any tape used to protect the coils after winding, and solder.

The old firebird pickup is very different to most "normal" humbuckers, and actually uses a pair of bar magnets in place of any steel poles, so we carry a kit to rebuild or repair that style of pickup.

This is a kit that includes everything you'll need to wind a traditional style mini Humbucker (except the coil and hookup wire)

This kit is a little more restircted then out normal humbucker kit (where you can pretty much build anything you can dream up!) - and that's completely intentional. This kit is designed to replicate one of the original humbuckers, warts and all.

So please bare in mind, that this kit only comes with the long leg bases, 5-40 UNC bolts, 6 screw poles, 6 slugs, and a base to accept them (the holes in the base are threaded for the pole screws) - its also only available in the 49.2mm spacing, as correct for the period.

At first glance, this kit looks near identical to our "normal" humbucker kits when speced up with 12 hex poles BUT this is actually different.

With the normal kit, the 12 screw pole option comes with M3 (or 5/40) bolts, which thread into the specific screw side bobbins, where this kit is supplied with M5 hex bolts, which are designed to thread into the "slug" side bobbin.

At first glance, this kit looks near identical to our "normal" humbucker kits when speced up with 12 hex poles BUT this is actually different.

A slightly strange take on a humbucker, here we have a SLANTED version - made popular originally on the Gibson Nighthawk, and more recently on fan fret guitars - the slanted humbucker offers a slightly more "quirky" look then the traditional type. Beyond the base, all the parts are identical thankfully.
