Wound using 42 AWG Formvar insulated copper, to around 6Kohm, and utilising 3/16” poles, the Late 50s capture that touch stone moment perfectly, and are capable absolutely nailing some of the most iconic Strat® tones we associate with Blues and Rock. On the face of it, this looks our popular Craggy Mod pickguard, but its actually something a little different. Rather then having a bridge humbuckers paired with a single coil neck, this is actually a plate that takes heavy inspiration from Robbie Robertson and his Last Waltz Strat, and that bridge pickup is actually routed for a pair of single coil!
