Wilkinson's take on the "lipped style" trem, mounting with elongated holes for either a 54mm or 56.4mm screw spacing, but with narrower string spacing at 54mm (2 1/8”).

The narrower spacing gives a much more stable string lie across the neck, limiting the possibilities of the E strings slipping off the frets, a great little touch for anyone who likes their hammer ons and pull offs.

The steel block is also sports staggered string holes to make corrections to the intonation a relatively simple job, without putting too much stress on the saddles, and as with all steel blocks, it helps magnify the overall sustain, brightness and top end, resulting in a more expansive tone.

Another nice feature on the Wilkinson trems is the push in whammy arm. A simply solution to an age old problem! Wilkinson have installed a “clamping” bush inside the block, secured by a small bolt on the rear of the block.

All in all, these really are a great tremolo, flawless construction, innovative design and very competitively priced.

Supplied with trem arm, springs, screws, claw and Hex key.

5 of 5 Perfect tremolo! March 6, 2018

This sits now on a Harley Benton ST62. Had to fill out the existing mountingholes and drill new ones, but that was no problem. Now the tremolo works flawless. It is a very nice trem, hold the pitch very well. So for this money it's a bargain! Wilkinson know what they are doing.
The package did arrive after one week, but there was a weekend between, I'm living in Sweden.
So I'm more then satisfied with this purchase!
Thanks Axesrus!

Inherited a Frankencaster, quality body/neck/pups but the bridge was a bitch, turns out it was wrong size for chassis. Simples!! Axesrus wonder website + genius Wilkinson bridge with heaven sent oval shaped screw mount spacing allowing oversize bridge to instantly fit BUT with standard string spacing. All with hyper comfy saddle surround and solid steel block. NOW I have an UNBELIEVABLE Strat-masher of unsurpassed tone #dreamland

5 of 5 Excellent July 7, 2014

The best Strat bridge I've ever encountered, bar none - I'm including Fender USA deluxe, bog standard vintage six screw and far more expensive USA made upgrade bridges in that too!

Quality workmanship throughout and a perfect fit for my Mexican Jimmy Vaughan Strat. Raised lip around the back and sides of the bridge add a bit of extra mass and make right hand playing position very comfortable. Intonation, saddle height and arm tension screws all move smoothly yet stay put. Locks down as a fixed bridge without any issue (just raise the saddles slightly and add extra springs and tension to the claw).

100% recommended.

Very good trem system, I have two of these (one is the wv6), both in Mexican strats, improved sustain, slightly louder and better tone, also the push in arm is a real plus.
