Based on a late 50s/early 60s Stratocaster® plate, and sporting the simplistic 1 pickup, 1 pot setup, this plate originally appeared on the Tom Delonge Strat® in 1999 (Officially…somewhat belying the heritage of the plate itself).

But, it’s been seen on a few custom builds and retro fits through the years, where the cut back design appeals to players who aren’t too fussed with fiddly tone controls and switches.

All in all, a great part if you're looking for a no nonsense guitar.
