These base plates are SPECIFICALLY for the "H Gate Style 2" covers (available Here)

Much more rounded in the corners to accommodate the larger radius on those covers.

Made from German Silver, and spaced only for 50mm poles. This is a very specific part, and complete overkill for most applications. If your after making a normal humbucker, you just want a regular base (here) but if your trying to make a full sized humbucker that looks like a Filtertron? This is a must have.
