This is the way to do it! 1/4" singles no longer have to be "rustic" looking!Strangely, they're made from Nylon rather then ABS, which brings them more in line with true "historically correct" covers, but thankfully, they're only available in Black and white, so not a great deal to worry about in terms of colour matching!They're also slightly shallower then a traditional single coil cover, this is intentional - because 1/4" single coils are almost always wound with thinner gauges of wire, its important to keep a "gap" between cover and the termination points to avoid them cutting (this feature is actually built into most normal single coils too, but occasionally, with shorter frame builds, you do see the covers come into contact with the start and end of the coil wires - its fine most of the time with 42 AWG, but i really wouldn't suggest it with 43 AWG and thinner - so, 1/4" covers? Shorter!Please note - the photo of the cover fitted to a pickup is purely for demonstration purposes - this product is only the cover, no other parts will be supplied.
