7 String single coil fibre boards - 61.2mm spacing, and designed for 5mm poles.

7 String single coils are one of those things that exist, but no ones really sure why if i'm being honest.

Usually, they turn up as, seemingly, a bit of an after thought on HSH guitars, where the middle pickup is being used in conjunction with the neck and bridge humbuckers (when coil split!) in position 2 and 4 to give a tone similar to a traditional Stratocaster®, and as a result, the middle pickup on its own is sort of looked on with a measure of scorn, because they're never that well designed, and whilst there are 7 string guitars out there that do put more of a focus on the single coils (theres even a couple of Fender® Strat® models (Alex Gregory being about the only person who ever used them!) its not exactly a common thing!

Either way, parts for the things are pretty rare frankly - but we figured its about time the old 7 string single got a bit of love, so we're branching out! No more cheap and cheerful injection moulded frames or co-opted humbucker bobbins! If your going to make a decent 7 string single, you might as well do it the way it was intended! With Fiber boards, Alnico Rod magnets and plastic covers!
