Designed for a Vintage Telecaster® Bridge, and a great part to put that finishing touch on your Tele®. First introduced in the early 50's , where most ended up as portable ashtrays for the gigging musician, the early models had a distinctive solder drop or solder mark on the inner face due the fact that a wire was attached during the electro-plating process. The later models have no such mark because the plating process moved onto specially designed racks. Could be a nice touch for someone who is looking for the historically correct build. The tele® bridge cover was with us until mid-1983 when the design of Tele® bridges began to change into the modern style we know today but has made appearances on numerous reissues since then.
