The P90 Ethos with more power!

Our take on the classic P90, but moving away from the tamer, traditional pickups we've designed before!

Would up as hot as we could, these bad boys roar along at 9.2K, and utilise Alnico 4 bar magnets to mute the top end just a little bit - all in all, their a spicy beast, ideal for getting that huge single coil style warmth, but putting it to work in a more rocking setting.

Great for anyone who likes Classic Rock and hot blues, where your looking to avoid too much of the rasping top end you'd associate with a more modest P90.

5 of 5 Flipping Amazing Pickup! October 9, 2018
Reviewer: Michael Jones from Stowmarket, Suffolk United Kingdom
This is my first P90, I got a black dogear with vintage wiring on a kit I've made. This pickup sounds fantastic and is good for any kind of music, from chugging to chicken picking. I love it, great job. Thanks.

5 of 5 Goldilocks pickup - just right. May 17, 2018
Reviewer: John Roberts from Wolverhampton, West Midlands United Kingdom
I don’t normally rave about things, but this time I’ll make an exception. I like this pickup so much that I didn’t stop playing until my hands hurt. I used it to replace the bridge pickup in a Fender JA-90. I wanted something more traditional than the overwound ceramic SA90-3s, but not too bright as the JA-90 is naturally quite bright. The Hot 90 uses vintage-correct 42AWG, wound up to just under 9K, so it’s a bit beefier than a vintage P90 but not stupidly so. The A4 magnets are vintage correct for a later 50s P90, and being slightly weaker than A5 keeps the output from being overpowering. There is plenty of snap and twang with a clean amp, and as you turn up the overdrive that turns into a clear and sizzling top end. It’s not harsh or icepicky and the bass response is huge. Chords don’t go mushy under overdrive, and single note lines jump out with amazing clarity. This really is a do-it-all pickup, right from country through punk to classic rock.
